Job Role Overview

This is a permanent position for a senior billing professional at a reputable employer in Cork. The role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible working arrangement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain client contracts within the Vantage billing system.
  • Manage daily client inquiries related to billing and account discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the collection of meter readings and billing data from clients via email and phone.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly service and contract invoices in line with billing schedules.
  • Liaise with the Sales and IT teams to ensure accurate client contract information.
  • Submit monthly billing reports and data to Xerox.
  • Analyze billing trends and support initiatives to maximize revenue and enhance performance.
  • Contribute to financial operations by preparing ad hoc reports and supporting team projects as needed.
Requirements
  • A third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years' experience in billing, invoicing, or financial administration roles.
  • Strong background in high-volume, fast-paced finance environments.
  • Well-organized with a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with Vantage and Sage systems is advantageous.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
