Financial Accountant Role

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the financial success of our clients in North Wicklow.

The job entails:

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and clear commentary.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and all financial records.
  • Ensure intercompany balances are accurately reconciled and that foreign exchange is managed during the consolidation process.
  • Timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT, HMRC, and other statutory tax returns.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Provide analytical and financial support to senior management as needed.
  • Oversee the full payroll cycle for group entities.
  • Prepare and file all payroll-related returns.
  • Manage the supplier ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Requirements:

Key Requirements
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Solid technical accounting expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing financial statements, management accounts, and conducting financial analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of Irish tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
