Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to lead our implementation and oversight of data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data governance in accordance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to embed data governance principles across the organisation.
  • Support the Head of Data Governance in rolling out the Data Governance framework.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and implementation of them.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to draft, review and maintain policies and procedures for data governance.
  • Experience & proficiency with data governance tools (e.g. MDM, data catalogues, data quality platforms).

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, risk, business, or related field.
  • Professional certifications or similar (e.g. CDMP, DCAM, CMIP).
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, or compliance within financial services.
