Job Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team in a key leadership role.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of fresh, handmade meals, baked goods, and desserts to a high standard.
  • Follow established recipes and production plans to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Ensure excellent food safety and hygiene practices in line with HACCP and company policies.
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal product ranges.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, kitchen environment.
  • Manage stock rotation and support with ingredient prep, portioning, and labelling.
  • Adapt to changing production needs, including preparation for large orders and event catering.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a professional kitchen or food production environment.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and fresh, artisan food.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation and consistency.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, with a strong work ethic.
  • Culinary qualification is an advantage but not essential.
