Advanced Medical Device Design Assurance Lead

As a Senior Design Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design assurance process to ensure the performance and safety of medical devices. This role requires advanced knowledge of engineering principles and regulatory requirements.
">- Lead strategies for risk management, test method validations, design verification and shelf-life protocols/reports.
- Provide Quality input into new product development, process improvements and change control.
- Liaise with departments, both internally and externally to build strong collaborative partnerships.
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum Level 8 degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline with minimum 4 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.
