Senior Environmental Development Manager

Job Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Management of development consents, compliance, and planning strategy for large scale projects.
  • Participation in design processes for layout, master planning, and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
  • Management of interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Liaising with local authorities as required.
  • Experience with engagement in environmental permitting, including EPA Licence application process, would be beneficial.

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline.
  • Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI, or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
  • Relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management / consultancy.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and practice.
  • Project Management skills with attention to deadlines.
  • Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of report preparation (MS Word) and use of MS Excel.
  • Proven track record of working on your own initiative.
