We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Midwife to provide high-quality care to patients.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for a registered General Nurse with active registration to utilize their skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and babies.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, and demonstrate a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Antenatal & Postnatal Care: Conduct routine check-ups, provide health education, and support women and their families throughout their journey.
- Labour & Birth Support: Assist during labour and delivery, guaranteeing the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
- Emotional & Physical Support: Offer continuous care and support throughout the birthing process, promoting a positive experience for all involved.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
- Registration & Eligibility: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration and eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Triage Training: Triage training and certification are preferred but not mandatory.
- Mandatory Training: Completion of current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Safety Intervention training, and Garda Vetting.
- Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 6 months post-registration experience, with familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
