About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our team of experts in global infrastructure commissioning. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of Amazon's cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include overseeing multi-discipline teams, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and managing project timelines to meet strict deadlines. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.

A successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description
  • Provide recommendations and feedback on design concepts, equipment selection, and pre-functional checklists developed by others.
  • Review documentation for compliance with Amazon standards, industry standards, and design specifications.
  • Assess the capability of commissioned systems to match design intent.
  • Verify system performance, establish acceptance criteria, and perform verification and spot checking for validation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Experience in commissioning, mechanical or electrical design, construction project management, control system installation or maintenance, HVAC testing and balancing, facilities operations and/or maintenance.
  • Business proficiency in both English and Korean, limited working proficiency in Japanese.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
