Energy Grant Applications Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Commercial Grant Applications Manager to join their team in Cork. The successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Director and be responsible for evaluating and managing key client relationships and strategic partnerships.
The role involves overall responsibility for commercial grant application success & quality, preparing and issuing weekly, monthly reports that contribute to decision making, and ensuring timely submission of applications for the SEAI Better Energy Communities Scheme.
Fully responsible for tracking all proposed application projects and submissions to meet internal deadlines and SEAI requirements. Regular reporting to directors on team productivity and KPI results are also essential.
Requirements include minimum 10 years of experience in the construction/energy industry and at least 5 years in a senior management position within the same sectors. A third-level qualification, preferably in Engineering or a relevant area, is required.
Able to consistently meet multiple and parallel deadlines, demonstrate initiative, and build strong client relationships and strategic partnerships. Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills are necessary, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
