Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Estimating Manager to oversee the tendering process, estimate management, and supplier negotiation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tendering process from initiation to conclusion with precision and speed.

  • Oversee the maintenance of cost databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and guidelines to ensure high-quality control standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve collective goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working as an estimator with a mechanical contractor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and at least one estimating platform.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards required.
  • Ability to identify potential risks on a project.
  • Be a motivated and dependable individual with excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
