HR Generalist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team.

  • This is a part-time position, working four days per week.
About the Job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with a broad range of HR functions, including payroll processing, employee benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  1. End-to-end employee payroll management, pension administration and advising managers on Employee Assistance Programs.
  2. Preparing reports related to payroll, benefits and HR metrics.
  3. Full employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, absenteeism and occupational health attendance management and leaver processes.
  4. Employee relations activities, including internal communications, employee forums and newsletters.
  5. Fostering a strong learning culture through policy development and support for performance management strategy implementation.
  6. Drafting and updating relevant HR policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  7. Maintaining HR systems and data management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience with payroll software (Sage), HRIS and IT applications.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in HR, payroll or benefits administration.
  • A strong understanding of employment laws.
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent part-time position over four days, subject to a six-month probationary period. Flexible working arrangements are available, with some remote work permitted.
