Commercial Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Electrical Team. This role offers career growth and support from Senior Management.

This opportunity encompasses overseeing domestic projects, providing support to the Construction Team and Project Quantity Surveying. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with contract obligations and advising the construction team
  • Identifying potential commercial risks and reporting to management
  • Oversight of monthly progress applications and subcontractor accounts
  • Procurement and contract support in conjunction with the Procurement Department
  • Managing and forecasting turnover and cash flow of projects
  • Reviewing and commercial management of projects to ensure accurate reporting

This is a mid-senior level role requiring relevant third-level qualifications in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics and previous experience with an M&E Contractor. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills, and be able to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. They will also contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives that drive growth and profitability.

Key Requirements:
  • Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics
  • Previous experience with an M&E Contractor
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience post-qualification
  • Experience in an Electrical role required
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
