Job Description:

As a Domestic BER Assessor and Consultant, you will be responsible for carrying out domestic BER assessments and BER upgrade reports to assist clients in achieving A or B rated buildings.

You will also conduct detailed home energy audits on a range of residential building types, including site inspections and energy surveys.

In addition, you will design energy upgrade systems, select and specify equipment, and use mathematical and computer models to complete designs and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold an NFQ Level 6 Advanced/Higher Certificate in construction studies, or similar qualification
  • Experience in domestic BER assessments and energy auditing
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of heat pumps and energy efficiency measures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
