We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Domestic Violence Services Manager, responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality services for women and children fleeing abuse.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing multi-disciplinary teams, delivering residential service delivery, and assessing and responding to the needs of survivors of domestic violence and coercive control.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of Safe Ireland's services, including refuge accommodation, centre-based supports, outreach and community-based services.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement service policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with statutory and funding requirements.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies and voluntary bodies to develop service-user-centred programs and supports.
  • Identify service delivery gaps and develop new services in line with Safe Ireland's Strategic Plan & Objectives.

Requirements:

  • A Third Level Qualification in social care, housing or management or related discipline.
  • 5 years experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary frontline service delivery teams within a DSGSBV context.
  • Demonstrable achievements at senior management level, including the management of residential/refuge/emergency accommodation facilities.
  • An advanced understanding of Sexual, Domestic, Gender & Sexuality Based Violence and appropriate current practitioner responses.
