Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial planning skills, with the ability to obtain new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients, including tailored investment strategies, pension advice, savings plans, and protection services.
  • Manage an established portfolio of clients, developing relationships with both new and existing clients within the region.
  • Identify financial planning needs and generate new business opportunities with existing and potential clients to achieve performance targets.
  • Provide high-quality professional advice and consultation to meet clients' needs.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of a client's financial situation, current provisions, future goals, and risk attitude through comprehensive fact-finding sessions.
  • Collaborate with support staff to continuously improve administrative processes through feedback and cooperation.
  • Maintain professional development and accreditation through tutorials and seminars.
  • Report on activities, business targets, and meetings undertaken to management and support staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial products and legislation.
  • Keep line managers/directors informed about operational issues.
  • Achieve or exceed agreed business targets and meet business compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidates must be fully QFA and CPD compliant.
  • Proven experience in similar roles is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate effectively and openly.
  • A systematic approach to workload management, prioritizing activities to ensure completion.
  • Accountability for maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, management, and business partners.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, taking initiative to attain positive outcomes and goals.
  • Team player with excellent working connections with colleagues, management, and business associates.
  • Experience in sales roles within a brokerage or similar background is advantageous.
  • Own transport is essential.
