Quality Assurance Engineer Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing, implementing and maintaining our Quality System. You will partner with R&D and Process Engineers to ensure smooth transitions of products through R&D and sister sites, product approval and manufacturing scale up are timely and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities include promoting compliance and excellence within the company to customer requirements and applicable regulatory standards. You will participate in new product/technology development and support QA activities as part of an overall project team.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product transitions.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Support new product/technology development projects.
Responsibilities

You will execute project design plans, protocols and generate reports for new product development projects and design/process changes. You will summarize, analyze and draw conclusions from test results and other process-related findings.

Education and Qualifications

An Engineering or Quality Assurance Degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer within a Medical Device or regulated environment is preferred.

Competencies and Attributes

A detailed working knowledge of the medical device industry, analytical approach to problem-solving and creativity are essential.
