Nursing Director Position

We are seeking a skilled nursing director to lead our clinical operations and deliver effective person-centred care. Our supportive team environment empowers our staff to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of effective person-centred care.
  • Manage resources within approved limits, providing strategic and operational leadership.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HIQA, HSE, families, and other external partners.
Requirements
  • Fully registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in nursing older people within the previous 6 years.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in management capacity in health and social care area.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical nursing practice and future trends in elder care.
  • A post-registration management qualification in health or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • ADON experience is an added advantage.
