Senior Rail Systems Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and execution of Operational Readiness work streams for new rail systems, aligning with international best practices and local regulatory requirements.

About the Role
  • This is a senior position that requires strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience in configuration management within large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, or safety-critical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and execution of safety-driven Operational Readiness work streams for new rail systems, ensuring all operational systems are validated and ready for service.
  2. Design and implement training frameworks, including "train-the-trainers" programs, to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer and capacity building for O&M staff.
  3. Support the setup and structuring of O&M organizations, defining operational procedures, resource plans, and performance metrics.
  4. Manage and supervise testing, commissioning, and trial phases, ensuring all operational systems are validated and ready for service.
  5. Contribute to operational risk assessments and safety cases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with at least intermediate skills in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required by business and client needs.
