Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading multi-disciplinary rail engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Providing technical oversight across rail systems, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.
  • Developing and implementing engineering processes and best practices aligned with global industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering (or related field).
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in rail engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record delivering major rail infrastructure projects in Europe or the UK.
  • Strong understanding of railway systems design, construction, and operational integration.
  • Experience working within consultancy or client-side organizations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with BIM and digital delivery platforms.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards in transport infrastructure.
