Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced rail engineering professional to lead our projects in Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and leadership abilities to provide strategic oversight of rail projects.

  • Technical leadership and project delivery expertise in rail engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Familiarity with design management principles and practices.
  • Chartered engineer status or equivalent.
  • Able to ensure safe-by-design is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to drive the success of our rail projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentoring and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to project delivery.
  • Developing and implementing quality management systems.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (BEng/MEng).
  • Relevant postgraduate experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to BIM Level 2 equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Full driving licence.
