Key Role:

A seasoned Performance Optimization Specialist is sought after to spearhead performance testing strategies, ensuring the scalability and reliability of large-scale applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive performance testing plans.
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performing application infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve application performance issues.
  • Integrate performance testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Provide expert guidance on performance optimization techniques.
  • Lead the triage of production performance issues and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in performance engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
  • Proficiency in LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
  • Hands-on experience analysing performance for Java applications, containerised/serverless environments, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), and JavaScript-based front ends.
  • Expertise in Linux/Unix and Windows environments, as well as AWS and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, and SQL, along with version control tools like GIT or Bitbucket.
