We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young people.Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Registered Manager and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being and safety of our young people.
  2. Lead by example, promoting a culture of inclusivity, respect, and compassion within the service.
  3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including children's services, health agencies, and community-based services.
  4. Monitor and report on service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance care delivery.
  5. Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  6. Manage budgets and resources to meet company targets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the service.
Qualifications and Experience

We require an experienced professional with:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with behaviours of concern, such as verbal and physical aggression or absconding.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams and managing services within the care sector.
  • Degree-level qualifications in Social Work or a related field.
  • A full clean UK driving license (12 months).
  • Northern Ireland Social Care Council Registration and Enhanced Access NI.
