About the Role
">- We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants in a well-established nursing home located in North Dublin.
Job Responsibilities:
">- To provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring the dignity and well-being of our residents.
- To support residents with mobility, meals, and hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
- To monitor and report changes in residents' health or behaviour, maintaining accurate records and following established care plans.
- To maintain a warm, safe, and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community among residents and staff.
- To collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
">- A valid EU passport (essential for employment eligibility).
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Genuine passion for caring for older people, with a commitment to their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, with flexibility and adaptability.
Nursing Home Experience
">- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a healthcare or elderly care setting, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
