Pastry Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Team Member to join our culinary team. As a key player in the pastry section, you will be responsible for creating delicious desserts from scratch, from giant lemon pies to homemade gelato.

In this role, you will work closely with kitchen management to ensure the pastry section runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for onboarding and training new chefs, as well as coaching and supporting your team members.

To succeed in this position, you will need excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. You should have expert knowledge of Italian desserts and pastry techniques, and experience leading a pastry team in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality desserts from scratch.
  • Work closely with kitchen management to ensure efficient pastry operations.
  • Onboard and train new chefs.
  • Coach and support team members.
  • Maintain health and safety standards and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a pastry team in a restaurant environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Italian desserts and pastry techniques.
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
