Senior Technical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Tipperary. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor for various equipment such as Slurry Tankers, Diet Feeders, and Grassland Machinery.
About the Role:
Produce high-quality designs that meet customer needs while ensuring functionality and compliance with agricultural standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing products in the workshop and contribute to new product introduction (NPI) projects.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and ready for manufacture.
Provide engineering support during the build process, resolving technical queries, and making design adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
A level 7 or 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering is essential.
Any experience in agriculture is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks is required.
