Procurement Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our Raw Materials and Manufacturing Operations category strategy. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective category management plans that drive value and efficiency across the organization.

About the Role

This role involves leading cross-functional teams to drive results in Raw Material categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management. You will work closely with internal and external partners to align category priorities and drive business growth.

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies and plans to meet business needs
  • Lead and manage teams to execute category management tasks
  • Provide coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports
  • Negotiate with suppliers to drive cost savings and cash flow improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience successfully leading global categories teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
  • Expertise in developing influential relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Led cross-functional teams to drive results in Raw Material categories or related categories
  • Ability to leverage external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve the intelligence / analytics of supply market dynamics
