Hugh J. Ward & Co Solicitors invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Court Proceedings Coordinator. As part of our Litigation Team, you will be responsible for handling debt recovery proceedings, encompassing secured and unsecured cases.

Responsibilities:

  1. Document drafting for court proceedings;
  2. Efficient service of documents to relevant parties;
  3. Preparation of detailed statutory declarations and affidavits of service;
  4. Effective management of summons servers and tracing agents;
  5. Development of strategic approaches for court engagement through motion writing;
  6. Expert guidance for clients and clear communication with solicitors;
  7. Support for solicitors in instructing local town agents and counsel briefing;
  8. Comprehensive preparation of documentation, including briefs;
  9. Professional management of correspondence from diverse stakeholders;
  10. Liaison with clients regarding court updates and future actions;
  11. Communication drafting and maintenance of dialogue with involved parties;
  12. Contribution to team targets and performance metrics;
  13. Collaboration with court services for streamlined coordination and regulatory compliance;
  14. Workload management.

Qualifications:

  1. Desirable: previous experience in repossession or debt recovery;
  2. Experience in similar roles;
