Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team and help us build software development tools for the emerging field of quantum computing.

You will lead a R&D team focusing on quantum algorithms, working closely with our product, engineering, and design teams to develop enabling technology behind our products.

You should have a deep technical knowledge of quantum algorithms, excellent grasp of quantum complexity, and exposure to implementations in code.

A proven track record of leading research projects is essential. Good leadership skills and passion for pushing at the boundaries of technology are also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise teams to ensure work delivery according to schedule and company roadmap.
  • Work with other employees to design and implement our products.
  • Solve scientific and technical problems in support of product development and implement solutions in code.
  • Develop quantum algorithms within our framework.
  • Mentor junior scientists.
  • Maintain documentation and present results.
  • Collaborate externally to develop and protect intellectual property.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years post-doctoral work experience.
  • Experience managing scientific teams.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Expertise in quantum algorithms and complexity.
  • Coding experience in C, C++, Python, and preferably Matlab.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Motivated, collaborative, and communicative.
