Job Overview

This is a permanent position based in Cork requiring a Cyber Security Specialist with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Perform risk assessments vulnerability scans and penetration testing
  • Design and implement security protocols firewalls and endpoint protection strategies
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure development and deployment practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a cybersecurity role (SOC security analyst engineer or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security best practices
  • Experience with SIEM tools and endpoint protection platforms
  • Proficiency in incident response threat hunting and log analysis

Desirable Certifications: CISSP CEH CompTIA Security+
