Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to support our response to the proposed policy for connecting large energy users, including data centres, to the electricity grid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the policy decision paper on Large Energy Users connection policy to identify key implications.
  • Assess the potential impact of the policy on national renewable energy targets and carbon emissions, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
  • Develop a comprehensive response to the consultation, considering security of supply and network constraints to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Communicate the company's position to relevant parties, including regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders, effectively and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in energy regulation or a related field, with a strong understanding of policy development and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy targets, carbon emissions, and energy market trends.
