Job Title: Regulatory Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage the forward-looking strategic energy regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review regulatory consultations, assessing their impact on the business.
  • Coordinate the development of energy policy positions, liaising with key teams.
  • Develop policy and response papers.
  • Support in implementing regulatory rules efficiently, through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent at Industry Fora, discussing changes that meet policy owner and business needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within the organisation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum 7 years' experience in the energy industry, ideally with previous experience interacting with Regulatory Authorities.
  • An appreciation of the regulatory environment and markets, along with good understanding of government and European energy policy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including drafting documents to Regulatory Authorities.
  • Excellent analytical capability, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to form relationships at all levels and have influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work outside office hours as required by the nature and location of some events.
  • Travel will be required.
