About the Role

Leading a high-volume store requires a Store Manager with exceptional leadership skills, customer focus, and experience in driving sales and profitability. As a keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and ensuring all systems are operational.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, coaching, and motivating teams to achieve targets. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager to drive sales, optimize customer service, and implement visual merchandising standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and motivating the team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Optimizing sales through effective customer service and selling techniques
  • Keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, cashing up, and managing petty cash
  • Managing rotas, payroll, and headcount to align with forecasts and budgets
  • Planning and implementing shop merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales and customer satisfaction

You will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing new team members, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback to management.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in managing a high-volume store
  • Experience in leading and developing a large team, ideally in a similar retail environment
  • Inspirational and motivational leadership style, with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability
  • Experience within a KPI-driven environment and understanding of how to drive these for ongoing growth and success
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt style depending on the situation
  • Well-presented, with a positive, pro-active, and professional approach
  • A can-do attitude, with a contagious enthusiasm for our products and core values
