
Afterschool Care Worker

This is a part-time term-time relief position available in Dublin South, with our busy Afterschool & Holiday service.
As a Childcare Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment for children. This includes assisting with daily activities, leading and participating in planned activities, and building positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting. A fluent English speaker, the candidate should also possess good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary of €14 per hour (minimum 10 hours per week guaranteed), paid in-house certified trainings, a referral scheme, opportunities for career progression, and ongoing support from managers and child development specialists.
- Assist with daily activities, ensuring a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children.
- Build positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
- Lead and participate in a variety of planned activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Bring enthusiasm and energy to create a dynamic, enjoyable experience for children each day.
- Support children with their homework.
In order to be eligible for this role, candidates must undergo Garda vetting and reference checks to ensure the highest level of child safety.

Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
