We are seeking a skilled and experienced financial professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting on the company's financial performance, including preparing monthly financial and management accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in managing financial systems, processes and controls. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial and management accounts.
- Responsible for managing month end reporting timetables to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supervise and control the company balance sheets, associated audit trail and analysis.
- Monthly oversight of entity Balance Sheets, governance and controls.
- Support compliance reporting requirements (including statutory audits, financial statements completion, VAT and Corporate Tax computations, etc).
- Completion of external audits ensuring plans to address any control weaknesses.
- Maintenance of systems and controls to ensure adequate backup documentation and audit trail for transactions.
- Drive and implement efficiencies in process and procedures and financial reporting.
- Input, support and add value on all key programmes with Financial Reporting touch points.
- Deliver timely, clear concise reporting to stakeholders.
- Act as a Business Partner to assigned business areas.
- Develop effective relationships with stakeholders through strong communication and collaboration.
- Ad hoc requests as required by management.
