Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Technical Services team as a Technical Inspector. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections at NCT Testing Centres ensuring all tests are carried out to the highest standards in line with documented procedures.
  • Perform regular consistency checks on test equipment to ensure uniform readings.
  • Promote high-quality reporting following each inspection.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the business across various projects and areas as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mechanical or technical environment.
  • Hold a qualified LCV Mechanic/Technician Level 6 certification.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both business and public customers.
  • Bonus points if you have prior motor trade experience in roles such as service advisor, parts sales, or similar positions.
