Job Title: Senior Nursing Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Senior Nursing Manager in our nursing home located in Ballytivnan, Sligo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our care team and ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to our care team and ensure that our residents receive excellent care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Health Act regulations
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
  • 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field, including clinical experience working with older persons or in nursing home care
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written) and eligibility to work in Ireland
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a care team
  • Caring and compassionate approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality care
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Excel spreadsheets
