Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits and implement action plans based on the results
  • Provide induction training and ongoing professional development for staff
  • Encourage innovative practice and adherence to best standards
  • Ensure effective implementation and adherence to Company standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Regular meetings with clinical teams to discuss progress and goals
  • Establish strong working relationships with external agencies
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to maximize the profile of the nursing home
  • Implement health and safety policies to safeguard staff, residents and others
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the home
  • Participate in the selection and interview process for new staff members
  • Clinical practice aligned with Regulations & Standards
Requirements:
  • Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years management experience in care of the older person
  • Post registration management qualification in health or a related field
  • Proven track record in healthcare clinical management
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Sound decision making ability and drive for results
  • Ability to work well and promote a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
