Relief Staff Nurse Opportunity

This is a nursing position in a Children's Services setting, where the successful candidate will promote the delivery of safe person-centered care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure regulatory and contract compliance, while promoting nursing according to professional standards.
  • Provide user-focused care, upholding principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfillment, independence, and choice.
  • Maintain nursing standards of person-centered care, including normalization and quality of life issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks in Ireland pertaining to residential care.
  • Experience working with children and young people with Intellectual Disability/Autism/Associated Mental Health needs.
  • Person-Centred Care Planning and risk assessment expertise.
Key Aspects of the Role
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical support.
  • Contribute to identifying training needs and participating in performance management processes.

The successful candidate must be registered with An Bord Altranais and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, with a minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in a healthcare setting.
