Early Years Educator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join our team as a Lead Educator on a maternity cover basis.

Job Description

The role involves planning and implementing engaging daily and future preschool programmes while ensuring compliance with Tusla, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), and the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage preschool sessions, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the holistic development of children.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Tusla, ECCE, and AIM.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to enhance the preschool experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with children and their families, supporting their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of Fetac Level 7 or 8 in Early Years & Childhood Studies is required. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is also essential.
