Hotel Attendant Position Overview

The Hotel Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our establishment during evening and late-night hours.

Key responsibilities include answering phone calls, performing occasional reception duties, preparing meeting rooms, and catering to guest needs as directed by the Reception team.

To excel in this position, one must possess excellent organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a high level of attentiveness while manning the switchboard at all times
  • Carrying out periodic reception tasks, including check-in and check-out procedures under the guidance of the Reception team
  • Setting up and preparing function and meeting rooms according to established protocols
  • Ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently as directed by the Reception team
  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness of toilets and cloakrooms
  • Conducting regular security checks and fire safety inspections
  • Operating equipment and machinery while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
  • Using cleaning agents and chemicals as instructed
  • Restocking toilet essentials as required
  • Adhering to our hotel's customer relations policies and effectively communicating hotel services to guests
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming while wearing designated uniform and name tag
  • Exercising caution to ensure the health and safety of oneself, colleagues, guests, and other individuals within the hotel premises
