International Medical Leadership Role

This is a key leadership position within our organization, focused on serving as a liaison between our company and the scientific and healthcare community.

Main Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will represent our organization in international markets, specifically for Oncology Medical Affairs and Clinical Development functions outside of the USA.
  • They will oversee and evolve an existing international medical team, bringing innovation and critical thinking to Medical Affairs processes.
  • The leader will drive functional excellence for Integrated Medical teams, ensuring Oncology Teams work cohesively to achieve high standards.

This individual will closely partner with the Oncology Global Medical Affairs Franchise Head and global Oncology medical leads. They will establish strong partnerships with International Commercial and Market Access Partners, contributing to accelerating the pipeline by supporting clinical development programs.

Essential Qualifications
  • Strategic leadership experience with a breadth of global industry-related experience and strong business acumen.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to foster professional development and growth of direct reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including motivational, negotiation, listening, judgment, analytic, and conflict management skills.

Preferred qualifications include a medical degree (Physician, M.D. or equivalent) with commensurate pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience; Medical Affairs experience is required. The ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of the Medical Affairs and Clinical Development business in Europe, with a thorough understanding of the European healthcare environment.
