About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Psychologist to join our Adult Services team. As a Staff Grade Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and interventions to adults with disabilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centred services and supports.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to evidence-based interventions and the scientist-practitioner model. You will be able to work effectively within a dynamic team environment using a person and family centred philosophy with an emphasis on human rights and Social Role Valorisation.
You will have experience working as a psychologist with adults with disabilities and be familiar with the Department of Health & Children Consolidated Scales. A full driver's licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- An honours degree in psychology together with an appropriate post-graduate professional qualification in psychology.
- Qualifications that comply with the Department of Health & Children and PSI requirements for appointment as a Staff Psychologist.
- Candidates who have trained outside of the Republic of Ireland must have their qualifications validated to work in Ireland by the Department of Health and Children at time of application.
- Full driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Salary in line with the HSE consolidated pay scales.

A panel may be formed for a 12-month period to fill future permanent or temporary, full time or part-time Staff Grade Psychologist positions that may arise across Adult Services in Horizons.
