Lead Young People's Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to manage a residential service for young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the care delivered meets with national regulations and maintaining a safe, clean and appropriate environment for the young people.

The Manager will also be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.

  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and national regulations.
  • Leading by example and promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the service.

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor or MA/MSc in Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Social Work or related field.
  • A valid driver's license (Ireland).
  • Knowledge of Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Experience includes:

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience working with young people if holding a level 8 degree.
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience working with young people if holding a level 7 degree.

Key responsibilities include managing the service, developing staff, and implementing best practices to ensure the highest standard of care is maintained.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant academic qualification (BA/BSc or equivalent)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policy
  • Proven experience in leadership or management roles
