As a key member of our scientific operations team, the Scientific Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our clinical trials. This position requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The Scientific Operations Associate will coordinate laboratory operations, maintain equipment and supplies, and develop strong relationships with clinical trial teams to ensure the timely execution of laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate laboratory operations, including sample receipt, processing, and shipment according to study protocols.
  • Collaborate with clinical trial teams to develop and implement efficient laboratory workflows.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory to support ongoing clinical trials.
  • Implement robust documentation and tracking systems to ensure compliance and quality requirements.
  • Negotiate with external vendors and laboratories to secure outsourcing needs and facilitate sample logistics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, clinical laboratory science).
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably within a clinical trials or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail with excellent documentation and data management skills.
