Expert Data Scientist Role

The role of senior data scientist is a crucial position within our organization, requiring in-depth technical expertise and collaboration with senior leadership.

This hybrid role can be based from either Dublin or Madrid offices, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive innovation.

Duties
  • Formulate and implement impactful data-driven strategies to address complex business challenges.
  • Develop and train sophisticated machine learning models and LLM-enabled systems to meet business needs.
  • Establish robust MLOps best practices for model monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical designs and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor data scientists, promoting technical excellence and collaborative learning.
  • Research and champion the latest AI/ML techniques, tools, and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record of leading end-to-end AI/ML projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Physics).
  • Strong statistical knowledge and understanding of ML algorithms / LLMs.
  • Proficient in Python and data science ecosystem; proficient with one or more ML frameworks.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of modern database systems.
  • Experience designing and building production-grade ML and generative AI systems.
  • Hands-on cloud development experience on Azure or GCP; experience designing and implementing MLOps pipelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
