Key Responsibilities

The Tech Transfer Project Manager provides leadership and expertise to ensure the reliable supply and commercialization of externally manufactured APIs, intermediates, and starting materials with a focus on safety and quality.

Scope Management

The successful candidate will manage tech transfer plans for new products, ensuring scope is proactively managed through collaboration with project sponsors. They will also maintain a change process to gain alignment with peers and leaders for modifications to plan timelines, deliverables, milestones, and resourcing needs.

Project Planning and Delivery

Independently develop and oversee execution of the project plan and delivery of project milestones; ensure realistic timelines for deliverables. Facilitate internal and joint process team meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Higher degrees or certifications (e.g. MS, MBA, Masters in Project Management or PMP, Six Sigma Black/Green belt). Experience in typical unit operations for large molecule expression and purification, peptides, and/or small molecule manufacture. Project management qualifications or demonstrated ability to develop detailed project plans including critical path and risk register analysis.
