Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Service Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing an excellent dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Assist with setting up of all dining areas.
  • Taking orders and requests accurately and communicating these to relevant colleagues in the F&B outlets and Kitchen.
  • Serve Food & Beverages to customers in various areas including dining rooms, bar, restaurant, outdoor dining, function rooms, and lobby areas, as well as occasional room service.
  • Collect room service trays and glassware from corridors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas at all times.
  • Familiarize yourself with hygiene regulations.
  • Maximize guest revenue by upselling and needs-based selling opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate recording and presentation of orders, bills, and dockets to the kitchen, guests, and colleagues at the end of each shift.
  • Verify that all orders taken have been correctly accounted for and paid before completing each shift.

Requirements:

  • A strong customer-centric mindset required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills necessary.
  • Able to learn new information systems quickly.
  • Resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure a significant advantage.
