Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as a Process Optimization Specialist. This role involves assisting the engineering and production departments in improving manufacturing processes and developing optimum molding processes and tooling.

The ideal candidate will have a background in injection moulding and a strong understanding of process optimization using statistical techniques. They will be responsible for introducing new products into the company, compiling standard specifications for each process, and monitoring existing production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Engineering/Production department in improving manufacturing processes and developing optimum molding processes and tooling.
  • Introduce new products into the company, compile standard specifications for each process, and monitor existing production.
  • Coordinate documentation development in Production and Technical areas, ensuring conformance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and business development.
  • Ensure process optimization using statistical techniques.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Plastics Engineering (preferably a Degree) and at least 4-5 years' experience in injection molding industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Injection Mold tooling and design, as well as Injection Molding, processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
  • Preferable experience in Medical, Packaging, or technological industries.
  • Knowledge of Real-time monitoring systems an advantage.
