Job Summary

A dynamic opportunity exists for an experienced, process-focused individual with a passion for driving performance, leading teams, and making real operational improvements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a labour-intensive, fast-moving manufacturing environment, making quick decisions and keeping production running at its best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 20+ staff in a heavy industrial setting, reporting to the Plant Manager.
  • Lead production teams and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership of production teams (20+).
  • Experience in fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing, preferably in a heavy industry setting.
  • Strong background in process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, and KPIs.
  • Practical, no-nonsense approach and confidence to take ownership.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 20+ staff.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering process improvements, KPIs, and complex projects.
