Job Title

Lead Production Team

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our production team.

As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the shift team to achieve production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Ensure the highest standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene

• Maintain excellent standards of good manufacturing practice and good housekeeping practice

• Monitor and control costs

• Ensure the safe working practices and conduct of the team, contractors, and visitors

• Train and manage team members to work safely, with a focus on quality and efficiency

• Foster positive working relationships and ensure effective communication at all levels

• Regularly inspect and maintain work areas and equipment to deliver optimum performance

• Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution and improve product quality and process efficiencies

• Liaise with QA, QC, logistics, technical, and maintenance teams to achieve optimal results

• Interface with HR in relation to employee performance development and any employee relations issues

• Update relevant HR systems as required

Requirements


• At least 2 years' experience in a management/supervisory role in the food manufacturing industry

• Third-level qualification in a related field is desirable

• SAP/MES/Scada experience highly desirable

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office is required

• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
